Black Friday apps for iOS and Android - News - Know Your Cell

Black Friday is almost here and we've got a list of mobile apps to help make it a little less overwhelming to start your holiday shopping. Heck, some of these picks even make it possible for you to do everything straight from your sofa, using nothing more than your iPhone or Android (read: Your chances of not getting maced are significantly better). Good luck, guys.?

Macy's

Macy's mobile app, admittedly, is nothing too special on its own. But the popular retailer just added a brand new mobile feature to help make Black Friday shopping a heck of a lot easier. Macy?s app will now help you browse and shop for Black Friday deals that are specific to your local store. Available for iOS and Android.?

Black Friday Shopping

This one offers Black Friday deals from 1,200 top-notch retailers and some pretty sweet cash-back options. You'll find all of the latest ads (go ahead and head over now, there are already a ton of 'em) -- and the best part is that most of the goods featured here are available online, meaning you can straight up skip those 4 a.m. lines. But if you're more of a traditionalist, the Black Friday's app also features a countdown to the big day. Available for?iPhone and iPad.?

TGI Black Friday

This one touts itself as the "most complete" app for all things Black Friday, and so far we've found that to be pretty accurate. TGI Black Friday lets you scope out previews of the hottest deals before they're available in your local news sources. Probably our favorite parts are the quick price comparisons and the ability to easily create shopping lists based on the deals you plan to snag. The app also has integration with popular social networking sites, so you can share your favorite Black Friday ads directly to Facebook, Twitter and Google+ (but we don't recommend that, lest you increase your risk of getting trampled during door-busters). Available for?iOS and?Android.

Amazon Mobile?

It's probably safe to assume that most of you already have this one on your handsets, as it's a surefire bet for scoring sweet deals year round. In fact, this is the perfect pick for those who would rather get a root canal than wake up at the crack of dawn just to duke it out over door-buster sales. For?iOS?and?Android.

Point Inside Shopping & Travel

This one is especially great if you're opting to do your Black Friday shopping someplace totally new. Point Inside's shopping app helps you navigate your way through the mall maze. Whether you need to find the nearest Starbucks or you're searching for the last stop on your shopping list, keep this one handy to make it all the more efficient. Now if only they could add some sort of estimated "time you can expect to wait in line" feature. Available for iOS and Android.?
