Singing sensation Taylor Swift has added one more notch to her celebrity belt of fame. She's launching her own fragrance line known as "Wonderstruck." At just 21, the blonde country music juggernaut's star just keeps rising. She's already racked up several Grammys, AMAs and CMas. Recently she's branched out into acting, having hosted "Saturday Night Live" rather successfully and having a role in "Valentine's Day." Her new fragrance just helps to cement her place among A-list celebrities.
Swift is one of quite a few celebrities who have or will release their own fragrances this year. Avon is teaming up with a few celebrities. Singer Fergie has "Outspoken Intense", and Reese Witherspoon racks up three fragrances known as "Love," "Laugh," and "Live." Katy Perry will wrap up a fantastic year both professionally and personally by releasing "Meow" in November.
Power-pop vixen Avril Lavigne launched her second scent in September. Known as "Wild Rose," it's a follow up to her first fragrance "Wild Rose." Interestingly enough, both fragrances actually don't have any rose scent to them. September also saw the new fragrance "Pulse" from mommy-to-be Beyonc. A month prior in August as part of her attempt to come back to the land of the living, Britney Spears released "Cosmic Radiance."
If you're looking to smell like a diva, you have a couple of choices. Canadian crooner Celine Dion offers "Signature" while "The Voice" host and vocal powerhouse Christina Aguilera hopes you'll give her "Secret Potion" a shot, though it might be best to wear and not quaff this particular potion. If it's a blonde pop icon of a different variety you're after, Gwen Stefani in August released "Super G."
"Project Runway" host and supermodel Heidi Klum put out "Shine" last month while Aussie pop singer Kylie Minogue played the alliteration game with her perfume "Dazzling Darling." It wouldn't be a complete year without new fragrances from Jennifer Lopez ("Love and Light"), Jessica Simpson ("I Fancy You"), or Kim Kardashian ("Love").
If you're thinking that the world of celebrity fragrances is just for the ladies, think again. Avon's got something for the gentlemen with their fragrance from actor Patrick Dempsey, known as "Life." Soccer star and Spice Husband David Beckham has "Homme" and country mega star Keith Urban gave us "Phoenix." If you've ever found yourself wishing they'd bottle a little piece of Bieber and sell it, you're in luck! Justin gave everyone "Someday," even his fragrance is optimistic! Later this year Kanye West will release a scent of his own as well.
