Colorectal cancer may show itself in several ways, one of which is to show the typical symptoms of colon cancer. There are some symptoms of colon cancer that can give a subjective description of the patient. Bleeding from the rectum or blood mixed with feces (stool) are symptoms caused by bowel cancer. ? Rectal pain: Pain rarely occurs with colon cancer and usually shows a large tumor in the rectum that may invade surrounding tissue.

Studies show that the average duration of symptoms (from initial diagnosis) is 14 weeks. There was no association between overall duration of symptoms and stage of the symptoms of bowel cancer.
