We are still trying to figure out what's going to go here. Stay Tuned. We promise it will be nice.
Here?s a video by one thoughtful gamer who has compiled all the boot loading screens. Notably, a couple of consoles are missing such as the 8-bit NES and Super NES a couple of other notable consoles.?Understandably?so considering that they have none. However, they did show the Famicom ? which had a disc loader that had some character as well as 3DO?s overly self-welcoming boot sequence. There are even some obscure consoles that you probably have never even heard of ? including Apple?s Pippin. As a kid growing up with all this stuff, the boot screens were one of those moments you had when you first started your brand spankin? new system with all excitement of trying the (then) state-of-the-art games. It?s nostalgic yet amazing how much game consoles have changed throughout the years yet thankful to have grown up to see all of this technology come to fruition.

But if I had to choose my favorite boot screen, it would have to be the NEO GEO.
