Vallejo: Missing beef jerky causes woman to hit brother with baseball bat

A Vallejo man was taken to a local hospital Monday for a possible broken arm after his sister hit him with a baseball bat, a Vallejo Police Dept. spokesman said.

The episode, which occurred in the 300 block of Winchester Street, at about 1:30 p.m. Monday, started when Helen Newton, 50, of Vallejo accused her 49-year-old brother, also of Vallejo, of stealing her beef jerky, Lt. Kenny Park said.
